Prerequisites
Before you begin, make sure:
You have the LeadCRM Chrome Extension installed and are logged in.
Your HubSpot account is connected to LeadCRM (See how to connect).
Step 1: Open LinkedIn
Log in to LinkedIn.
Open the chat window with the contact whose messages you want to sync.
Click on Add as Contact and LeadCRM will push data based on your Field mapping for Contact & Company and once Contact is created it will add each message as separate LinkedIn Activity based on actual timestamps.
Once added you will see option to Open same Contact in HubSpot and see the details.
If leadCRM shows messages as Synced but you are not able to see them on HubSpot ensure you have selected LinkedIn Type of Activity from the Activity Filter.
With LeadCRM you can even ensure your reports are more actionable by using Timestamps which adds Timestamps like Last_mesage_sent_on, last_message_received_on, connected_at so you can ensure no deal falls through the cracks.
