Getting Started with LeadCRM App Cards & Workflow Actions

Org Charts, Contact & Company Enrichment, and Lead Intelligence, directly inside HubSpot as App Cards, and extends them into HubSpot Workflows for hands-free automation.

Updated this week

What Are App Cards?

App Cards are interactive panels that appear inside your HubSpot CRM records — on the middle tab or right sidebar of a Contact, Company, or Deal record. LeadCRM uses these cards to surface live enriched data and org chart intelligence without ever leaving HubSpot.

There are two LeadCRM App Cards you can add:

  • Org Chart Card — builds the buying committee hierarchy using contacts already present in your HubSpot, and surfaces missing members powered by the 700M+ profile database so you can fill gaps with a single click.

  • Enrichment Card — enriches Contact and Company records using waterfall technology, which cascades across multiple data sources in sequence to find the most accurate, verified data for every field.

Adding App Cards to Records

Step 1 — Open a CRM Record
Navigate to Contacts or Companies in HubSpot and open any record.

Step 2 — Open the Layout Editor
At the top of the record, click Customize tabs. The record layout editor will open in a new view.

Step 3 — Add a LeadCRM Card
Click Add cards and search for LeadCRM. You'll see both available cards listed. Click the + icon next to the card you want to add.

Step 4 — Choose Card Placement

  • Middle column (Tab view) - OrgCharts are shown here always.

  • Right sidebar —Enrichment card can be added here.

Step 5 — Save and View
Click Save in the top-right corner. Return to the record — your LeadCRM card will load live data automatically.

💡 Tip: Add the Enrichment Card to both Contacts and Companies for a complete enriched view at every level of your CRM

Using the Org Chart Card

The Org Chart Card is available on Contact or Company records. It builds the hierarchy using contacts already in your HubSpot for that company — your existing CRM data is always the source of truth.

From the card, you can:

  • View the live org chart rendered from your existing HubSpot contacts for that company

  • See missing member suggestions — roles and people not yet in your CRM, identified from the 700M+ profile database

  • Add any suggested contact directly to HubSpot and have them appear in the org chart instantly

  • Define what data you want to see inside OrgChart

  • OrgChart are shared across team

  • You can define their Status like Champion, Blocker etc.

Using the Enrichment Card

The Enrichment Card is available on both Contact and Company records. It uses a waterfall enrichment engine — rather than pulling from a single data provider, it queries multiple sources in sequence and stops when it finds a verified match. This gives you the highest possible data accuracy for every field.

From the card, you can:

  • See enrichment completeness at a glance — missing or unverified fields are clearly highlighted

  • Click Enrich Now to trigger on-demand waterfall enrichment for that record

  • Use the Copy icon next to any verified field (email, phone, LinkedIn URL) to copy it to your clipboard instantly

Setting Up Workflow Enrichment

LeadCRM's Workflow Actions let you automatically enrich contacts and companies as they move through any HubSpot Workflow — no manual triggering required.

Step 1 — Create or Open a Workflow
Go to Automations → Workflows in HubSpot. Create a new workflow or open an existing one. Your enrollment trigger can be anything — a form submission, a deal stage change, or a list membership.

Step 2 — Add a LeadCRM Action
Click the + icon to add a new action. Search for LeadCRM in the action panel. Available actions include:

  • Enrich Contact — enriches a contact record with verified profile data via waterfall

  • Enrich Company — enriches a company record with firmographic data via waterfall

Step 3 — Configure the Action
Select which HubSpot properties should be updated with enriched values. Use the fill blank fields only option to protect data your team has already verified manually.

Step 4 — Blocking Enrichment
LeadCRM enrichment actions are blocking by default — the workflow pauses at the enrichment step and waits for data to be returned before moving to the next action. This ensures downstream actions like lead scoring, rep assignment, or email personalization always run on fully enriched data.

Step 5 — Test and Publish
Use HubSpot's Test feature to enroll a sample contact and confirm enriched properties are populated correctly. Once verified, click Review and publish to activate the workflow.

Recommended Workflow Templates

  • New Contact Enrichment — Trigger: Contact is created → Enrich Contact → Assign to rep based on enriched job title or company size

  • New Company Enrichment — Trigger: Company is created → Enrich Company → Create follow-up tasks for the sales team

  • Deal Stage Intelligence — Trigger: Deal moves to "Proposal Sent" → Enrich Contact + Enrich Company → Trigger personalized follow-up sequence using enriched data tokens

Troubleshooting

  • Card not showing on a record? Make sure you clicked Save in the layout editor after adding the card, and confirm the card is placed on the correct object type

  • Enrichment returning empty fields? Records with no email address or company domain may have low match rates. Adding a LinkedIn URL or company website significantly improves waterfall match accuracy

  • Workflow action not triggering? Confirm your LeadCRM app is connected to your HubSpot portal and that the workflow is published — draft workflows do not execute actions
