LeadCRM makes LinkedIn outreach faster and more personalized with Templates — pre‑saved messages you can insert instantly into chats.

You can use a Template in two ways:

  1. Manually — Select it from the Template list inside the Chrome Extension.

  2. With a Shortcut — Type a slash / followed by the Template’s shortcut name (e.g., /followup) to insert it instantly.

What is a Template?

A Template is a saved message you’ve created in LeadCRM.
It’s ideal for messages you send often — like follow-ups, introductions, or thank‑you notes.

Personalization with Placeholders

LeadCRM Templates support dynamic placeholders that automatically insert the recipient's details:

  • #firstname → Prospect’s first name

  • #companyname → Their company name

  • #jobtitle → Their job title

Example Template:

  • Title: Followup message

  • Shortcut: followup

  • Body:
Hello #firstname, glad to connect. I see that you are working at #companyname. Would you be open for a quick chat?

Using it with “John from Microsoft”:
Typing /followup turns it into:

Hello John, glad to connect. I see that you are working at Microsoft. Would you be open for a quick chat?

How to Create & Use Templates

Option 1: Inside LinkedIn (Chrome Extension)

  1. Open any LinkedIn chat.

  2. Click the Template Icon in the chat window.

  3. View your templates — edit an existing one or add a new one.

  4. Fill in:

    • Title (for your reference)

    • Shortcut (optional but recommended)

    • Content (your message; can use placeholders)

  5. Insert it by:

    • Clicking and selecting it from the list, or

    • Typing /shortcutname in the chat.

Option 2: Backend Dashboard

  1. Create or edit Templates with the same fields as above.

  2. Save changes.

  3. Refresh LinkedIn to sync the Chrome Extension.

  4. Use by clicking from the list or typing the shortcut.
